GraceBridge Children & Lifeline Health Foundation is a registered Christian charity supporting orphaned, abandoned and vulnerable children through education, healthcare, protection, mentoring and practical assistance.

About the Role
We are looking for a proactive, compassionate and highly organised Project & Communications Officer based in Northern Nigeria.
The role focuses on grant research, partnerships, community outreach, beneficiary identification and verification, field documentation and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Research suitable local and international grants and support grant applications.
- Build partnerships with NGOs, schools, hospitals, churches, community leaders, government bodies and other organisations.
- Develop a strong network of credible contacts across Northern Nigeria.
- Identify orphaned and vulnerable children who may qualify for support.
- Verify beneficiaries by gathering documents, making enquiries and conducting field visits where required.
- Ensure potential beneficiaries are properly documented before final approval.
- Support approved outreach and Foundation activities.
- Take clear photographs and record good-quality videos during field activities.
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain organised records.
- Meet agreed weekly and monthly KPIs.
- Support other relevant GraceBridge activities when required.
Essential Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be based in Northern Nigeria and understand communities within the region.
- Be comfortable supporting and representing GraceBridge’s Christian mission and values.
- Have strong research, communication and report-writing skills.
- Be able to research grants and approach potential partners professionally.
- Be willing to travel locally for outreach and beneficiary verification.
- Be able to take clear, professional-looking photographs and videos.
- Be trustworthy, compassionate and committed to safeguarding vulnerable children.
- Have a reliable laptop, smartphone and stable internet connection.
- Be able to work independently, manage deadlines and provide regular updates.
Previous experience in NGO work, grants, partnerships, outreach, child welfare, healthcare, education or beneficiary verification would be an advantage.
